Personal Growth Recovery Groups

Personal Growth Recovery Groups were formed to provide specific, need meeting opportunities for our church family as well as the community at large.  We strive to provide quality individual and group experiences that have life changing features.
Registration for all PG Recovery Groups is open until 3 weeks after the start date.  All groups are located at our Koinonia Campus, unless otherwise noted.  For more information or to register, contact the Kings Counseling Center at 559-584-2819 or email Joyce.

Confident Kids Support Group • No Charge
A Bible based support group program offering a life skills curriculum for ages 6-12.  Through games, skits and small group discussions, children learn important life skills while experiencing a safe place to talk about their life experiences.
Choosing Forgiveness • $20
There are no magic words or secret formulas for forgiveness.  But there are biblical principles that can help you break free from bitterness and pain.  Delve into God’s word to uncover the promises and expose the myths of forgiveness.
Co-Parenting • $20
The parent-child relationship is the foundational relationship upon which the child will build all his/her future relationships.  We will cover: What is child abuse, physical abuse, emotional maltreatment and sexual abuse.
It Takes 2 to Become 1 • $20
Boundaries are the “property lines” that define and protect husbands and wives as individuals.  Once they are in place, a good marriage can become better and a less-than-satisfying one can even be saved.
The Five Love Languages • $20
Learn how different people express love in different ways: Quality time, words of affirmation, gifts, acts of service, physical touch.  What speaks volumes to you may be meaningless to someone else.  The key is to learn the right languages and soon you will know the joy of being able to express your love and feeling loved in return.
Learning To Love Yourself • $20
You do not have to follow a family tradition of dysfunction, compulsion or addiction.  Learning to love yourself reveals how we can create our own self-worth at any time in our lives, even as adults.
