Family Ministry

Koinonia Church is committed to the next generation and places a high value on their spiritual development. They are the future leaders of the church and our communities.

The goal of our Family Ministry is to assure a healthy spiritual path from children to students to young adults. We want to offer support, encouragement and resources to you as parents, so you can fulfill Deuteronomy 6:5-7:

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home, and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

We would love for you to join the team! We are always looking for people who love Jesus and the next generation. If that’s you, contact sylvia@kchanford.com.

Resources for Parents

Koinonia Church acknowledges parents as the spiritual leaders of their children as referenced in Deuteronomy 6: 5-8 (ERV):

You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. Always remember these commands that I give you today. Be sure to teach them to your children. Talk about these commands when you sit in your house and when you walk on the road. Talk about them when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them on your hands and wear them on your foreheads to help you remember my teachings.
